This artist uses color like a moon drenched night. He simply reveals all form through his romantic, color filled light. We find a sophisticated use of several art historical techniques that puts him the company of some of the most important 19th and 20th century artists. In his landscapes, he combines the passion the plein air artists had for their natural subjects with the color harmonies of Matisse.
